Foster Care - Inquire Today

Thank you for your interest in the Foster Care Program!

The purpose for this program is to place animals that are too young, sick, or injured in to homes where they can be cared for until they are available for adoption. We do not foster for time. Foster parents must be an Orange County employee or reside in Orange County and be at least 18 years of age.

All potential foster parents must attend an orientation. The program will be reviewed in detail and all questions will be answered by the Adoption Coordinator or shelter representative.

Ready to get started? Complete this form below and you will be contacted by the shelter with more information, including an invitation to the next foster care orientation.
